The Conservative Party has not been interested in conserving anything except their jobs and their corporate sponsors' revenue streams since... to be generous, let's say the 1950s.
The Labour Party couldn't give a rat's arse about working people. Why would it? It doesn't include any, or wish to know anything about them.
The Liberal Democrats (do they still exist?) are as illiberal a bunch of non-democrats as could be found in this world. A few of them may have heard of James and John Stuart Mill, but none of them trust the common people enough to imagine giving them any power.
Don't even get me started on the "Greens" and the rest of the lying, backstabbing, money-grubbing rabble. (Although dollar bills are green, aren't they?)
I think the idea of a "Green" party is fundamentally wrong. Everyone, and even more so every politician and business executive, should understand the basics of ecology and make plans that respect the facts and constraints.
It's rather like having a "Numerate" party or an "Engineering" party.
Moreover, I have heard more moronic, ignorant rubbish from "Green" politicians that from anyone else. Which is saying a very great deal. The German "Greens" are the most vociferous in demanding war against Russia - which would lead either to rapid defeat or nuclear war which would kill us all.
